Biosketch Muriel Derrien
Muriel Derrien, PhD, is a senior scientist at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Rega Institute, KU Leuven, and the VIB Center for Microbiology, Belgium. Her research focuses on the human gut microbiome, host–microbe interactions, and how dietary factors influence the gut microbial ecosystem to promote health.
